Dan Holtz presents Nebraska history: the North Platte Canteen during WWII; Solomon Butcher, sod house photographer; the legendary winter of 1948-49; Ben Kuroki, the only Japanese-American to fly in bombing missions over Tokyo in WWII; Robert Ball Anderson, the African-American with the largest landholding in 19th-century Nebraska; and Nebraska's historic grasslands and prairies.
