Using Your Library
Public Access Catalog/PAC
Use the library's online catalog to locate the materials you need. Search by author, title, subject, title keyword, or subject keyword. You can also reserve titles that are currently checked out by clicking on "Request Item" on the catalog screen. You will need your library barcode and PIN (personal identification number).
Search "Your Account" for user information on the screen to see which items you have checked out, to review your current fines, or to renew materials. You will need your barcode and a PIN to see your files. If you do not have a PIN, please ask at the main desk.
If you need help with the PAC please ask for assistance.
Book Returns
The library prefers that you use the library's book returns for books and other print items only. Return all overdue materials at the desk so your record can be cleared. Fines are assessed for overdue items deposited in the book returns.
DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs, CD books and other audiovisual materials should be returned at the library's main desk. If any AV items found in the book return are damaged, the borrower will be assessed damage charges.
Copiers
The library has photocopiers for your use at a low cost. The library also has a microfilm/microfiche reader-printer available so you can access the magazines and newspapers that are only available in those formats.
For copier fees, please see the library's latest fee schedule.
Meeting Room Use
There are two meeting rooms in the library for group meetings. Applicants should first read the Meeting Room Use policy which is available at the front desk. You will need to apply for use of these rooms at least one week in advance.
