Ongoing Children's Programs and Services
Storytelling sessions for preschoolers and toddlers are scheduled throughout the fall and early spring. Announcements are posted at the library with dates, times and age levels. There is generally no registration required. Please call the Children's Librarian for more information.

The library sponsors a summer reading program each year. Weekly activities are scheduled in June and July and include storytimes, crafts, and special entertaining and educational programs. The primary emphasis is the enjoyment of reading. Information on registration and programs is available beginning in May.
Look to the library for seasonal programs -- Halloween stories, Christmas music, and National Library Week fun. Visit the library to see our holiday book displays.
Count on the library to provide your child with those materials selected annually by Nebraskans for the Golden Sower competitions. Lists are available in September.
If you are in grades 6-12, join our Junior Friends and volunteer to keep the children's area neat, participate in programs and parades, and just enjoy reading and talking about reading.
The Junior Friends are funded by the Bellevue Library Foundation.
Come
& Go Crafts sessions are held seasonally throughout the school year.
Preschoolers and school-age children are welcome to visit the library for this
event, which is free and requires no registration. Announcements are
posted at the library with dates and times.
Pawsitive Reading sessions are held each month. This is a great time for children to practice their reading skills with one of the trained therapy dogs. Pre-registration is required. Call the library or visit the Children's Department for more information.
