Public Access Catalog/PAC

Use the library's online catalog to locate the materials you need. Search by author, title, subject, title keyword, or subject keyword. You can also reserve titles that are currently checked out by clicking on "Request Item" on the catalog screen. You will need your library barcode and PIN (personal identification number).

Search "Your Account" for user information on the screen to see which items you have checked out, to review your current fines, or to renew materials. You will need your barcode and a PIN to see your files. If you do not have a PIN, please ask at the main desk.

If you need help with the PAC please ask for assistance.

Book Returns

Please use the library's book returns for books and other print materials only. Return all overdue materials to the desk and clear your record. Fines are assessed for overdue items deposited in the book returns.

VHS tapes, DVDs and other audiovisual materials must be returned at the main desk and NOT placed in any outside or inside book return. A fine is assessed for each AV item found in a book return (please see the latest fee schedule). Continued disregard of this rule can result in loss of video and/or audio borrowing privileges.

Northwest Bellevue Book Return

For the convenience of residents in Northwest Bellevue, the Bellevue Public Library has placed a book return (for books and printed materials only) at St. Bernadette School, 7600 S. 42nd St.

Please do not return VHS tapes, DVDs or any other audiovisual materials at this location.

Pick-ups are scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays. Remember that fines are assessed from the due date, not the end of the grace period.  To avoid fines, return books to this location by the actual due date.

Copiers

The library has photocopiers for your use at a low cost. The library also has a microfilm/microfiche reader-printer available so you can access the magazines and newspapers that are only available in those formats.

For copier fees, please see the library's latest fee schedule.

Meeting Room Use

There are two meeting rooms in the library for group meetings. Applicants should first read the Meeting Room Use policy which is available at the front desk. You will need to apply for use of these rooms at least one week in advance.
