About BPL

Friends of the Bellevue Public Library

As a reader, you know that reading can open up new worlds: worlds of ideas, imagination, and exploration. The Friends want to invite you to be part of those worlds by supporting your library through the Friends of the Bellevue Public Library.

The Friends are the extra enthusiasm and energy that connect the community to the library. They provide new ideas and advocate for the library and its services. The Friends group fulfills special needs of the library which are NOT funded by the city.

It's been said that public libraries are the "Great Equalizer."
Books open minds and enhance lives.
