About BPL

Friends of the Bellevue Public Library

Join a group of people who love libraries and share your passion for books and learning. Join fellow library enthusiasts to get involved in supporting your local library by planning and volunteering at programs and special events. The Friends look forward to meeting you!

Meetings of the Friends are held at the library on the second Monday of the month at 5 p.m. each month, except July, August and December. Please contact the library at 293-3157 if you are interested in attending.

What do Friends do? Friends concentrate on the FUN in fundraising, assist with programs and events, and sponsor special programs for children, teens, adults, and seniors. Friends are the extra hands and energy that connect the community to the library. They provide new ideas and advocate for the library and its services. The Friends group fulfills the special needs of the library which are NOT funded by the city.
